Japanese style

Yamatane Museum of Art is newly built in Tokyo, and is mostly for Nihon-Ga, traditional Japanese style painting. It is on the underground floor of a office building, but the exhibition is usually good.

Its visual identity design was by Yoshiaki Irobe, young designer from Kenya Hara studio of NDC ( related page is here ), and its handwriting of the sign was originaly by famous artist Yukihiko Yasuda.

Art work on the wall in the entrance space is by Matazo Kayama.
