unique shape of windows

These round windows of the narrow building reminds me old ship windows. It is surely distinctive, but I wonder if its rooms inside are confortable to work or to stay.


This one below is designed by Toyo Ito for Mikimoto, the perl accessory company in Ginza Tokyo. This pink building is famous for its unique structure which doesn't require any pillars, and it enables windows be flexibly designed without restictions ( related page is here ) .
