super fine detail

Takahiro Iwasaki is an artist who has a very unique style of works. One of his famous series of works is a finely detailed wooden model of an architecture which is mirrored as if it was reflected on a surface of a still water. And his latest work is this burned temple Rasyo-Mon which was probably themed from the historical novel by Akutagawa, or the movie based on the same novel filmed by Kurosawa.

And his another famous style is a tiny knit architecture, a miniature pylon this time. ( related page is here ) I have no idea how he made this kind of models with super fine detail, but it is amazing, isn't it?
