Issey Miyake

An exhibition on Issey Miyake's works through his 45 year career was held in Tokyo, which includes his early works to the latest such as Pleats please or A-poc concept. There was a huge display hanging in the open space of the gallery which represents his flying saucer concept I guess.

His pleats cloth was used, and it was huge.

The museum which was designed by Kisyo Kurokawa also has modern and geometric details inside ( related page is here ), and I think it really suits Issei's works.

I love its futuristic details which looks as if it was a scene from the SF movie.
