double grid

The building covered by a complicated structure is one of the landmark at Akasaka Mitsuke area of Tokyo. I think the out-frame structure, exoskelton in other words, is for earthquake resistant and making inner space flexible to layout. It seems to be double grid structure and the 3D pattern looks industrial but also like modern graphics as in Mondrian's paintings. ( related page is here )
